Why We Like The Dyneema Contact Sling
Mammut works hard each year to make its Dyneema Contact Sling lighter without taking away any of its strength. Like most slings, Mammut made it out of super strong and light Dyneema, but unlike most slings, Mammut's Contact stitching technique ensures optimum handling and strength throughout the sling, even in the seam area. This makes it ready to please you whether you're sending sandstone, climbing crack, cranking ice, or alpine climbing your way to the top.

What you would expect.
Classic dyneema sling that does what it needs to. Great for building anchors and extending draws. Knots can be pretty tough to untie after its been loaded but that's what you would expect from this type of sling. Can be appropriately utilized by all skill ranges.

Best Dyneema Sling Out There
I have been exclusively using the Contact Sling 8 for the alpine draws in my rack for some time and could not be happier. They are extremely lightweight and surprisingly durable. Given their strength and weight, they make an excellent when you are trying to save weight. As with any dyneema sling, they have their disadvantages over nylon, but if you are looking for dyneema, these are the slings to get.

My go to sling
A little pricey compared to some other dyneema sling options like Liberty Mountain, but when you're buying a Mammut sling you know you are getting something good. Mammut slings have been super reliable for me, and I use them for building both anchors and making my own quickdraws.
