Dear god my crag rope is so much more supple than my old crag ropes that i didnt bother to bag.

Great rope management

I love how simple this rope tarp is. I've only used it at the gym but I imagine it'll be great at the crag too. It's much less bulky than a big bag.

This rope tarp is decent enough for the price. The design is a cool idea but there is a lot of drawstring to manage when the tarp is closed. It does keep a rope out of the dirt.

Does the job

This tarp is great for the job it's meant for when at the crag. Good size for flaked rope and good findable tie off points. If you're moving from one climb to the next close by, the ability to cinch down is great. Where the tarp is lacking is it's size and ability to hold coiled rope on top of the Neon bag. It's not generally big enough to hold the coil and protect it well.

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was hoping for a tarp that could double as a rope bag. While the tarp can be cinched up and has handles, the opening is too big for it to function as a sturdy rope bag. It can be used to haul the rope from one route to the next, and on short approaches to the crag. The design is cool, but the tarp didn't suit my needs so I had to buy a rope bag shortly after.

A little on the smaller side, but does the job so no complaints here!

Simple and does the job well. Much more convenient than backpack and tarp setup.

Neon Rope Tarp

Nice basic tarp for the price. Has tie loops for the end of your rope. I use it in the gym for now and the drawstrings make it useful as a bag. I will use it outside next season with my outdoor rope. It water repellent and great to quickly bag up my rope when needed. Great for first or second rope bag.

Great protection

Delivered as promised. Used frequently for a year now with zero issues. I have taken it to multiple walls in Hawaii with pretty rough terrain and has held up very well.
