My favorite alpine draw

I reviewed the carabiners and slings separately and now reviewing the alpine draw seems repetitive but some highlights from the individual reviews are as follows: Full sized wire gate clippy boy. It's not too stiff or too flimsy. not sure why you would want solid gate anymore. Maybe for sport climbing draws. Full sized ones feel a little big after using the mini carabiners so much lately but when it comes time to clip you're happy with it. As for the sling, it's the best sling I've ever used. Specifically the bartack smoothly transitioning into the body of the sling is the best feature i've seen on this equipment and it just works the way you want it too instead of getting stuck in a quickdraw when you're extending or consolidating.

Great alpine draws, great price

Have been climbing on these all season. They’re awesome. Slings are nice and durable, plus they’re super light weight. Will be buying more.

Mammut QuickDraw long

Great quick draws, carabiners are a little small which does make them very light but can be a little more difficult to clip if you have big hands.

These draws are awesome! The size is absolutely perfect and they clip well and fit in your hand great. Lightweight but still very functional.

Nice alpine quickdraw

Supple sling and medium sized carabiners. The sewn bar tack doesn't get caught on the carabiners. Clipping action is smooth.

Nice lightweight quickdraws

These are very light and the carabiners are a good size - not too small. I've taken many whips on them and they are holding up well despite their light weight. The dogbones are thin so can twist and are difficult to grab if you need to.

Exactly what I needed.

This alpine draw works perfectly. If you have a climb that ends up having rope drag, use this extended draw to help reduce the sharp angle the rope makes. The sling and the carabiners are of high quality and are lightweight. I would whip on them in the alpine without worry. If I need more alpine draws then I would consider adding a small fleet of these to my rack.
