Lightweight and waterproof jacket

I like the waterproof function a lot since it always rains in Seattle and we don’t carry our umbrellas. I am super warm and toasted. However I recommend purchasing a size down because Marmot jacket tends to be oversized and roomy..

Great Jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this Jacket. I am 5' 11" and 190 pounds and the fit is perfect in the chest and waist and the length covers my backside. The sleeves are perfect for me as I wear shirts with a 34" sleeve length but they might be a little long for someone with shorter arms. I have worn it in a blizzard, in driving sleet ,and in pounding rain and it has kept me perfectly warm and dry.

Warm Jacket, but I'm Not Completely Happy With It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first down jacket, and it's definitely warmer than all of the synthetic insulated jackets I've had. My biggest complaint is that it's not completely black. I purchased this in the week before an international trip, wanting to wear it to nice dinners and around the city. However, it is color-blocked despite looking just black on my computer, and the branding is way more apparent on the jacket, including a logo on the hood. The jacket covers just below the butt, which aids in warmth, but it's cut slightly slim, and together that makes it a little difficult to sit down in - it has to bunch up if you're driving with it sipped up, or if you're sitting down on a patio, and then your butt's cold. I actually appreciate the fitted shape so it's not so bulky looking, but you will need to size up to wear anything more than a single layer underneath it. The hood is not big and helmet-sized, so it is functional and good-looking when up - although, it tends to bunch in the car given the down in it doesn't compress well. My favorite thing about the jacket are the brushed pocket lining. I'm not sure why this isn't a more common feature on jackets, but I was specifically looking for it - as I don't wear gloves all the time I'm out in the cold.
