Lightweight and waterproof, the Minimalist Pertex Jacket keeps us dry and protected on trail and city adventures
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"This jacket is my go-to for wet weather, whether I’m on the trail or commuting in the city. The Pertex Shield fabric is super lightweight but fully waterproof and breathable, so I stay dry without overheating. I also love how packable it is—easy to stash in my pack when the weather is unpredictable. The taped seams and DWR finish give it extra protection, and the adjustable hood keeps rain off my face when the storm really kicks in."
When dark clouds roll in, we don’t let the weather hold us back—the Minimalist Pertex Jacket keeps us moving through rain, wind, and whatever else the day brings. Built with Pertex Shield Revolve fabric, this lightweight shell delivers fully waterproof, windproof, and breathable protection, ensuring we stay dry and comfortable whether we're trekking through the mountains or navigating rainy city streets.
Every detail is designed with performance in mind. Fully taped seams prevent leaks, while a DWR treatment adds an extra layer of water resistance to keep moisture at bay. The adjustable hood provides full coverage without limiting visibility, and the lightweight construction makes it easy to pack away when the skies clear. Plus, with a 100% recycled polyester build, this jacket delivers high-performance protection with a lower environmental impact.

Not on par with its predecessor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and easy to pack. Fit is unnecessarily more generous than its goretex predecessor. Cuffs are not as secure and the external breast pocket has been deleted on this version. Fabric is noisier so wildlife hears you coming…

Great Waterproof system
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket held up fantastic when I got stuck in a crazy rain storm. I was super impressed by how I did not get completely soaked. Material held up great and I was not wet at all. Great product.
