Why We Like The Marmot Montreaux Coat

No matter how cold it gets, the Marmot Montreaux Coat keeps us warm and toasty while we make our morning coffee runs all winter long. The mid-thigh length jacket offers extra coverage so we can face down winter's worst, and the 700-fill hydrophobic down stays light and lofty as snow falls on frigid evenings. The fleece lining takes the bite out of the wind and is soft against our skin, so we can walk down main street with our hot coffee in hand with a smile on our faces, cozy in the jacket's embrace.

Here's what customers have to say

The coat is warm and comfortable, with a soft, fleece-lined interior that provides excellent insulation. Reviewers praise the style and fit, though some note it runs small in the chest and shoulders. While a few experienced issues with the zipper, the coat is generally considered an excellent winter option that provides exceptional warmth and value.

Incredible Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket has kept me warm for multiple years now. It has been THE best coat I have ever owned. I live in Maine, it's cold, and wearing this jacket keeps me warm from the bottom of my knees up. It's super comfortable, warm and insulated. I love the length and the hood with the fur which helps keep the cold wind out of my face, especially when I am walking my dog

BEST Winter Coat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the silhouette of this coat - not too bulk or heavy - the black color is slightly muted which I love. ...and of course the fur lined hood. Now doubt this coat will keep me warm. It's still summer so looking very forward to wearing it on the first cold day!!

Great, but wish it was longer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice and long, but wish Murat offered a coat that went to the ankles and had the flattering V shaped baffles. As a tall Girl 5’9” this coat, barely touches my knees

My Second Marmot Down Coat

I realized this winter -- a really cold one in New England -- that my warmest winter clothing needed refreshing/replaced. The Marmot Women's Strollbridge Parka was 10 years old and pretty tired. I chose the Montreaux because of its longer profile and down fill. Love it. It is a good choice anyone, I think. It is stylishly flattering too. Thanks Marmot.

My favorite winter jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried so many insulated long jackets that don’t feel right, look big and bulky and have no true insulation. This one is great and it’s in Petite size!!! The best! Would be it again. Perfect length for 5’1 which hits below the knee but not too long and very nice quality

Nice parks

The style and fit is great but the sleeves seem just a tad short. It's warm but I wouldn't say it fits in the warmest category for Midwest winters. But I'm always cold so if I don't return it, I'll plan to wear layers under it as needed.
