Good wheels at good price

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These wheels replaced 11-year-old Ksyrium Equipe S WTS wheels, whose hubs were pretty much shot. I'd been looking at the DT Swiss P 1800 Splines, but when these went on sale from $500 to $350, I was decided on price. Not sure if it's just because the new wheels are that much better, or it's just because they don't have 12,000 miles on them, but they definitely feel like an upgrade. They're 100 grams lighter, and the internal width is 4mm wider, so the ride does feel smoother, faster, and a bit more aero. The engagement on the rear hub feels responsive. The only thing I haven't loved about them is that I had a devil of a time fitting my Bontrager R3 tire (not tubeless ready) on the rear wheel. Had no problem with the front wheel, but for the rear wheel I went through four tubes and broke three sets of tire levers before I could get it mounted. It's very tight. I don't have experience with really *nice* wheels, and I'm sure these are inferior to a $2,000 wheelset, but at this price, and when I was looking for a replacement more than an upgrade, I'm quite happy.
