the worst pair of Merrell's I have ever purchased.
i bought these shoes a couple of months ago. Worst pair of Merrell's I have ever purchased. Not comfortable and after wearing a short time my feet were hurting. I have worn Merrell's for years but after this experience I am not sure I will ever purchase another pa

3-4 STARS A shame they're not the same
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

I have had Antora 1, 2 and now 3 and they just keep getting more and more narrow. I loved my first pair for the wide toebox and the cozy feeling right out of the box - did a 8 mile hike in them right away with no issue, they just gave out in 6 months. The 2's weren't quite as comfortable and gave out like the 1's. The Antora 3's feel way more stiff, hug my ankle more and are uncomfortable and not "breaking in" at all the same, and I can feel the hardness of their new sole which makes them uncomfortable to walk in, and my main complaint is related to this - that the heal, maybe due to the harder sole, is so ungiving that I've had to change my gait so as not to get hung up on the backs of my heals on the pavement or trail and I am now overworking my calves to the point of cramping. I get they are trying to make up for the wear issues, but they got the height of the heal way wrong.

Solid shoe for all your activities.
Got these for the wife and my 12 year old. Both love them. Solid hiker/trailer runner/everyday shoe.

Hot hikes are cool
Hiking in Arizona and Texas are so much better with these! My feet don’t get hot, the soles grip on the rocks and I feel like I can hike anywhere

Good shoe
Pros: Wide toe box! Stylish for a tennis shoe! Lower heel to toe drop than many. Overall comfort is good. Improvements I’d like: Heel slips a little at times. I seem to have this issue in the brand. I can’t tell what causes it compared to other brands. Overall I like the shoe and find it comfortable. I wish the heel slip could be fixed because then they’d be ones I’d give a 5 for good all day on any surface! Right now I say they’re good all day on flat surfaces, not hills.

Clumsy
I bought these a month ago. I had worn the Antora 2. But the 3 is horrible. It says to order down because it runs large. I did not order down and glad because the length is the same. The shoe is bigger all over. The heel is sloppy and not supportive. My foot moves all around in the shoe. To compare the 2 and 3. The 3 looks a lot longer. It is a clumsy shoe. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. I don’t recommend it.

Antora 3 Sneaker
I needed new sneakers to wear while I work out. These are the ticket! They are comfortable, fit well, have a roomy toe box and some support. Just what I needed!
