too expensive for what you get; sole falls apart
These are too expensive for what you get. The materials of the sole separate -the glue seems inadequate. The bottom-most part of the sole (the darker rubber) separates from the foam of the sole. You can try re-gluing them, but so far, nothing I've tried lasts all that long. If you get the right size, they're fairly comfortable until the sole falls apart, but as others have said, the sizing on these has changed and the size you've ordered in the past may not work for this shoe.

They wouldn’t stay on
With every step I took they threatened to come off my feet. I found the design uncomfortable to say the least. The material used for the upper snagged on too many things. These are the first Merrells that I cannot wear. Trying to find someone that can use them.

I inherited a pair from my Mother and I love them. I use crutches and these shoes are comfortable and help me feel steady. Thank you so much for these wonderful shoes. I will be looking for Merrell boots in the near future. Lynne Jones

Sturdy and lightweight, they go anywhere
For a minimal shoe, it provides good foot support and the soles grip nicely on most surfaces. Shoe runs a little large, but with a thicker sock all is well.

Fit problem
The sizing has changed. I ordered a half size down as recommended and the shoe is too tight across the top but okay in length. I have worn the Encore Breeze for years, now I don’t know what to do!

Too narrow
My foot is narrow and these were almost too narrow for me. Not nearly as comfortable as my lsat pair but those wore out

These Clogs Saved My Feet, Back and Knees

I wore out my 4th pair of this formerly excellent slip-on and bought a new pair a few months ago. These new ones are a BIG disappointment. The heel gives way instead of remaining firm as my foot goes in the shoe! I have to reach down and hold the heel in place with a finger. Now I have to start looking for a new brand of slip-on that really does slip on.
