Proper shoe makes a proper hike.
These just walked the Grand Canyon, The Grand Tetons and Old Faithful!! And, my feet - normally burning hot (from nerve constriction between the toes) had no issues. Thanks to the large toe box and shoe size.

Fit like a glove
As always fit like a glove right out of the box! All I do is add inserts for my plantar fasciitis. I’ve tried Keens brand but don’t get the same fit. Looking forward to how they perform on our upcoming trip to Wyoming

Thunder
My boot leak and one of the seems ripped open, I don't even do anything to get it like this, I'm retired and I used them to ride, nothing else, so I'm very unhappy with this product, I thought they were a good boot until it started getting my feet wet.

Not just for Hiking
I have been wearing both the mid and low-cut versions of the Moab 3 for as long as I can remember. My feet are finicky when it comes to shoes, and the Moab 3 was comfortable the first time I put it on - no "break-in" required. I bought the black version as my motorcycling shoe because the industry either offers a high-top gym shoe or a leather boot that one would wear to a Village People audition (buckles and zippers). These are waterproof, pliable and breathable - perfect for my weekend excursions.

Don’t Buy!
I wore mine for 6 months, not hiking. They fell apart after light to casual wear. Used to be high quality, not any more. Contacted Merrill, they offered no replacement, discount, nothing.

Not durable or water proof
I bought the Moab’s for general use and couldn’t be much more disappointed. They are supposed to be waterproof but any water contact goes right through to my socks. Now a year into use around the yard pieces of the sole have broken off and the stitching is failing. I couldn’t trust boots by Merrell again.

Good Comfort but not waterproof
I purchased these to replace my other Merrell work shoes in July 2025. However, this pair is not waterproof. I stepped into a puddle and my feet were soaked. I was surprised that my feet got wet because it was totally unexpected. So, I changed back into my old worn-out my work shoes. I need waterproof work shoes given the environment that I work in as a handyman. The shoes are comfortable though. However, I cannot recommend these given my basic need for waterproof shoes. I plan to return them.

Not waterproof
My husband uses this kind of shoes for work. He’s on his feet a lot, says very comfortable not tight at all but not waterproof as he expect. He works as a painter and house remodeling/repair.
