Good all around boot. I'm glad there is a non waterproof version for warmer temps. Good support. Lugs could be a little more aggressive.

Great for the price
Bought these for hiking in Sedona and they performed well. I felt they allowed me to feel the contours of the trail while at the same time offering protection and traction while scrambling.

Fits small but wide feet
These size 5 shoes fit my small (size 4), but wide feet. I have had to buy size 5 hiking boots as I have only found a size 4 once in my life. I needed a lighter weight hiking shoe that didn't go over my ankles. And this seemed to check all the boxes for me. From the first time I took them out on a hike (7 miles), I realized that I needed thicker socks to pick up the slack in these shoes. Once I started wearing thicker socks, these shoes were comfortable and supportive (enough for day hikes). I've taken these out on only a few hikes (between 6-9 miles) around the Monterey Bay, CA but will be going into the high Sierras in a few days for 9-12 mile hikes per day. I'm confident these shoes will hold out.

comfort
Comfortable out of the box, I like the support. Also, for walking the dog in a heat wave, they are surprisingly cool.

great for flat feet
needed to replace my 26 year old Vasques. they did not make the Clarion any more. so have to find something different. I have flat feet. so its hard to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. I also have nerve damage. so it does not take much to make my feet hurt, these shoes are very comfortable. and they do not hurt my feet, they are well made and last a while.

Moab 3 never disappoints
Always reliable, a good comfortable hiking boot that is breathable and wide enough for my difficult feet. The black color is pretty sharp looking too.

The ONLY hiking boot to own
I've had 2 pair, each lasting 6-8 years of fairly constant use by someone who has never been below 270lbs. I normally don't get 12 months from a pair of shoes or boot. The comfort level is over the top, straight from the box. The soles wear very well, and this current pair started losing the tread pattern earlier this year. The leather outers and seams are now starting to fail after 9 years of use. I wear them hiking, hunting, and hanging out. I've worn them on dirt, concrete, gravel, mud, and walking through creeks.

Good shoe.
Actually 4-1/2 stars. Overall good fit . Sturdy for the paved and rough terrain on which I walk. But an extra wide fit would be even better!

Grey shows the dirt!
I purchased 2 pair of the gray version of this boot. Probably not a good pick, boy do they show the dirt. They really look bad right away, in fact so bad I sent the second pair back.
