Disappointed Despite Years of Loving Merrell
Iāve bought exclusively Merrell boots for the past seven years, and until now, theyāve always been perfect. I work in natural resources and go through boots quickly, usually getting a new pair each year. Merrells have always been the only boots that fit comfortably right out of the box, no break-in period needed. I actually owned this exact pair a few years ago and loved them, so I decided to buy them again. Unfortunately, this pair has been completely different. I canāt walk even a mile without getting painful blisters all over my feet. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in, so I wore them around the house, on short walks, and for errands ā but even after months, nothing has helped. On a few occasions, I had to hike 10+ miles in them, and I could barely walk for days afterward. Itās such a shame because otherwise, they feel like a great boot ā solid build, good support, and the same design I used to love. But the fit must have changed somehow, because these just donāt work for me anymore. Very disappointed, especially coming from a brand Iāve trusted for so long.

Tight toe box
Merrell boots are very reliable and usually comfortable. Sadly they new āwideā isnāt very wide. I was wearing a pair of Brooks Ariel shoes when my new Merrillās arrived. I couldnāt believe how tight the toe box on my new Merrillās compared to my running shoe. I donāt want to return them but I think I will. If they are too tight as I walk around my house, Iām sure they will be the same on the trail. Very disappointed.

first time hiking boot buyerās love letter
no break-in required, SO comfy, exactly what I was looking for! never bought hiking boots before & had no idea what to look forā¦ so this is for the girls who are lost & donāt know what to get. Canāt recommend enough + so appreciate that they are waterproof

Best boots ever
Love these Moab 3 hiking boots. These are my second pair and they are truly the best for all types of rocks and terrain. Best type of grip as well as waterproof. Merrell is the only brand I trust for all my hiking needs

Met or exceeded ALL my expectations
Looking for a comfortable, waterproof, easy hiking boot for a recent trip to Scotland that included hikes (both easy and level, and up hills and mountainsides... and usually in that stereotypical wet Scottish weather). These were wonderful and checked every box! I was VERY happy with them throughout the trip.
