Not just for hiking. For life!
I wear my Merrell Moabs every day. My entire life (68 years) has been a mission to find shoes that don't hurt my feet or cause toe and ankle cramping. I've been through a lot of shoes, inserts, Birkenstocks. Ive gone to the doctor, and had bunion surgery. For some reason, the Moabs have the perfect blend of arch and ankle support for my sensitive feet. I have an old pair for everyday and a new pair, cleaner pair for "dressier" occasions. Are there any other Merrell styles with the same footbed? I'd buy them all!

Quality and Comfort Have Gone Down Hill
I have owned 4 pair of Moab Mid Waterproof Hiking boots. I wear them daily for work and have loved their support and comfort while hiking Isle Royale. Unfortunately, this last pair that I recently purchased were noticeably much less comfortable and appear to be of lesser quality. Instead of a pair of boots that are comfortable from day 1, these are very stiff and uncomfortable. I am very disappointed and now looking for a new go to daily work boot that is as comfortable as my previous pairs of Merrells used to be.

Excellent comfort and flexibility
Really comfortable! Love the fit and feel! Didn’t get warm even wearing them in the summer heat. Fits true to size. Would recommend to anyone needing a good hiking boot.

Don’t buy, not good traction in slippery condition
I wish I had read these reviews before I bought these hiking boots. I have always loved Merrels boots in the past but beware! These are very slippery. They do not have good traction. I slipped and fell on a wet crosswalk after birding in Singapore and sustained a very painful and lengthy recovery ( now better after 6 months) a humeral neck fracture. I will never buy these again. Too bad they are so comfortable. But way too risky! Traction is very very important.

Great for Construction Inspection Work
I use these daily for construction inspection work. They are great in the mud and uneven terrain while still providing great support. They also last quite a long time as this is only my second pair in five years.

Disappointed with the Merrell boots
These were my second pair of Merrell Vibram hiking boots however this second pair was disappointing. We just finished walking the Via Francigena and my socks would get soaked as soon as we walked in wet grass as the boots did not appear to be waterproof like my first pair. This last pair was also dangerous as they became very slippery on wet rocks (i fell twice) and on wet metal covers or grills on sidewalks which there were many in bigger towns or cities. My first pair in 2018 were not slippery. We walked the Camino in 2018 in the same time of the year as this year's big hike.

LOVE
Amazing straight out of the box. My second pair of merrells - lost my first pair 😭 Poplar -beige/white is such a beautiful color and was more than happy to get them dirty. Went up 1/2 size as recommended.

Perfect Shoe
Perfect shoe. Light and waterproof. Took it on a 30 mile 2 day trek in the alps and it performed perfectly without being broken in.
