There's a Reason Moab 3s are Number 1
I took these new Moabs hiking in the Highlands of West Virginia. They were sure footed in handling the rocky, boggy, root studded terrain. My feet stayed dry and comfortable.

Excellent shoe
Had these for a month and war them at work everyday. Holding up extremely well. These may be the best pair of Merrell’s I’ve ever owned. Would buy again

Durable and functional
The Moab 3 is a great shoe, excellent on trails and nice looking to wear in town. This is my second pair and I upgraded to waterproof, which so far seems well worth it. I'll keep buying the Moab 3 as long as Merrell keeps making it.

Nothing better
This is my 3rd pair of this design in the last 25 years. Each pair has held up well for around 8 years even given pretty constant use. It's so satisfying to get a new pair. These feel like my feet are getting a big hug from a cloud.

Ready to go the distance!

Scotland tour
I purchased the waterproof Moab 3 for a recent trip to Scotland. Our trip involved walking tours in open areas as well as castles and historical venues. Scotland is known for its wet conditions and my Moab 3 kept my feet dry the entire time. Also comfortable while walking on all different types of terrains.

poorly made, clearly not inspected
sharp badly done stitching tearing into my right heel. Left shoes is fine. But this is just a good example of the steady decline in quality I've observed in the last few years.

Best Shoes I’ve Ever Owned
I’m 42 years old and these are the best shoes I’ve ever owned hands down . Why ? It’s the only shoes that has zero cons in my opinion. Those who question the price. , you are paying 100% quality perfection and built to last ! I wouldn’t have wasted my time writing this if was anything less.
