Wide fit was ideal.
I needed a wide fit and these shoes were perfect in combination with my custom orthotics. Foot pain that I’d been suffering from for months was gone.

Moab 3 Wide Width
This is about the 5th pair I've bought over the last few years. They fit. They're comfortable. And as I walk about 8,000 steps a day, they wear out in less than a year. But, still pretty good value. These aren't waterproof as I'm hoping for less foot odour. We'll see, as the waterproof shoes are very hot.

Great shoe but...
Would give this shoe 5 stars, but I can feel the tread design through the sole when I'm on my feet. This is unusual and unexpected from a quality shoe company like Merrell. A defect? Otherwise, the shoe is great. I'll try some removable insoles.

Where I Took my Merrell Moab 3s
I purchased these with the intent to use them on a recent vacation. My son and I took a trip to Switzerland and we hiked all over the Swiss Alps. My Merrills kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable through the mountainous trek. Highly recommend them.

Rocky Mountain National Park Shoes
Bought these for a hiking trip in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The shoes are sturdy, a bit heavy and very comfortable. I consider this a good buy.

I've been buying Merrel's as long as I can remember. they always use to fit great right out of the box. what changed the heel collapses, and I have to keep pulling them up.

The “out of the box comfort” is absolutely true.
There’s no other hiking shoe like the MOAB. I’m a repeat buyer. Tried another brand but they didn’t compare.
