Mountain Equipment designed the Aerotherm with EXOLITE 45 soft shell for wind resistance and stretch, paired with a recycled micro-grid lining that actively wicks moisture when we’re working hard. The result is a piece that feels breathable and mobile but still offers warmth when the wind picks up.

The Active fit trims excess fabric for efficiency, while articulated sleeves and a roll-away Mountain Hood keep us agile across variable terrain. Low-bulk elastic cuffs and dual hem drawcords seal out gusts without interfering with a pack or harness. Multiple zip pockets secure our essentials, and when it’s time to stow, the jacket packs neatly into its own hand pocket with loops for clipping to a harness or backpack.
