Mountain Equipment built the Andola around UK-sourced HD Wool insulation, a natural material that balances warmth, moisture resistance, and breathability for demanding cold-weather objectives. The Mountain Fit allows us to layer efficiently, while the insulated Mountain Hood keeps windchill at bay when the weather shifts mid-mission.

The 20D nylon ripstop face fabric offers wind resistance, stretch, and a PFC-free DWR treatment for protection against light moisture. At 100g/m² fill weight throughout, the Andola is warm enough for freezing summits yet low-bulk enough to climb, skin, and scramble without restriction. From the pre-shaped sleeves to the glove-friendly YKK zip and handwarmer pockets, every detail is dialed for mountain use.
