Cloud Bank GORE-TEX Jacket offers stormproof warmth with mapped insulation and eco tech

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This jacket is built for serious mountain days—I stayed dry and warm through a full-on whiteout. The underarm vents dump heat fast on bootpacks, and I love how the insulation is mapped to keep bulk down while still being super warm. Bonus points for the helmet-compatible hood and eco-friendly GORE-TEX."

When it comes to big mountain storms and cold, windy lift rides, the Cloud Bank GORE-TEX Jacket keeps us protected and comfortable with storm-grade performance and body-aware warmth. The 2-layer GORE-TEX ePE shell delivers proven waterproof protection, now built with a lower environmental footprint thanks to fully recycled polyester. We reach for this jacket when we need all-day performance, whether we're chasing powder lines or lapping our favorite tree runs.

The insulation is body-mapped—80g at the core, 60g at the arms and hood—giving us warmth where we need it most while keeping mobility high. Smart design elements like underarm vents with mesh backing, a helmet-compatible hood, and a pass pocket on the sleeve all add up to a jacket that’s built for real time on the hill. From storm days to bluebird laps, this jacket keeps us warm, dry, and ready to ride.

Perfect Jacket

Wanted a mid weight ski coat to layer under that I can still move in. This is the perfect jacket.

Great quality

I love mountain hard-wear overall, this one is more of a hard shell but has insulation. I feel like the underarm zipper is a bit uncomfortable but other than great quality. I have several MHW jackets and in comparison the other jackets are quite waterproof as well.

Great all around ski coat!

Great ski coat! Long to cover my bum, just warm enough but not too much. I love all the various pockets! Pass pocket in arm is perfect. It’s a bit over sized but I’m ok with that look. Very roomy to layer under.

Would highly recommend!

Pockets in all the right places. I haven't tested this yet with really inclement weather, but it is perfect for adding and subtracting layers. Size-wise it is generous. I often need a medium to make room for layers, particularly through the shoulders and bust, but the small has plenty of room and the internal sleeve cuffs are long enough! I am 5'7" and weigh 140, bust 37". It is warmer than I expected, but I'm happy about that--I run cold. The storm collar is JUST RIGHT, roomy but not gaping, soft on the inside, easy to find the zipper pull with gloves on. I skied four straight days using the storm collar zipped to the top, without a neck gaiter and it kept the wind out without getting chin chap. A great coat that does it's job perfectly.

Flattering and slimming

I have yet to wear this out, but I am love the cut of the jacket. It's flattering and slimming. Quite impressed with the design and cut. This jacket is on par with my lululemon gear.

Fully featured and durable!

Wore this jacket all last winter and am really happy with how it performed in dumping snow and even rain. Durable fabric and waterproof with enough insulation that it’s warm on reasonable days or colder days you can still layer. Pit zips are the best too! Also the flap pockets are big for all the things! I’m wearing size M and am 5’7 145 lbs.
