Exposure Gore-Tex Glove delivers pro-level protection, grip, and dexterity for technical alpine missions

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"These gloves are the real deal. I’ve used them on cold alpine starts and technical pitches—warm, weatherproof, and insanely dexterous thanks to the external seams and Gore Grip. The Pittards leather adds durability where it matters most. They’re my go-to for serious mountain days."

When we're pushing into exposed terrain and can’t afford to second-guess our gear, the Mountain Hardwear Exposure Gore-Tex Glove keeps our hands warm, protected, and fully in control. Designed with input from elite alpinists, this glove is built for precision, durability, and maximum performance in demanding mountain environments. Seam placement is turned inside-out for enhanced dexterity, and key contact points are reinforced with Pittards™ goat leather for long-lasting durability in the harshest conditions.

GORE-TEX construction offers full waterproof, windproof protection while maintaining breathability and moisture management. Inside, Primaloft Gold™ insulation with Cross Core aerogel delivers warmth without bulk—even in sub-zero, high-exertion scenarios. With a full gauntlet, two-stage closure, and grip-boosting Gore Grip Technology, the Exposure Glove is purpose-built for ropework, ridge traverses, and high-alpine precision when every move matters.

Excellent gloves for winter climbing

Excellent gloves for winter climbing. I can see that MHW have looked closely at the finger design on these. The fit and dexterity is superb, which is ideal for winter climbing. The thumb length fits me well so they don’t feel clumsy like many other gloves, making unclipping biners off the harness, and clipping gear easy. Secure strap across the wrist keeps the glove on well and the elastic draw cord on the gauntlet is easy to use and tough. I’d use these in temperatures between 15-35F maybe a little colder if I had to. Excellent gloves

Solid for mountaineering

Very good gloves. They grip ice axes and poles well. They are warm, yet able to provide just enough dexterity to put on crampons.
