Ghost Whisperer Jacket - Men's

Good quality, hope it holds up

Nice looking jacket, but the fit is a little funny. I normally wear a large or extra large and in the large, the sleeves fit, but the chest was tight that forced me to the extra large where the chest fits, but sleeves are a little long. As reference I’m 6’ 1” 210. I usually wear a 42L jacket. It is bit tight under the arms as people describe so suggest upsizing if you wanna layer, if not, and you go true to size you won’t fit much more than a T-shirt underneath it. Very light and packable, those are the main benefits. I’ve not worn it yet so hopefully it holds up. Cool green color.

What I Was Looking For

I haven't had an opportunity to wear it while camping yet. The fit is perfect and not too tight; will allow for layering. Lightweight and will be perfect for chilly mornings and should be fine for colder temps with MHW Grid Fleece added. I am 5'6" 155 and ordered a medium.

Ultra compact

Very light and great for trips when space is at a premium. Not super warm, but a perfect layer.

Sizing Issue

This is my second Ghost Whisperer, so that should speak volumes. I ordered the medium as I am the same build as the model and thought all would be good. The jacket is a perfect fit, as long as I don't reach forward. When I do, the jacket becomes very tight around the lat section of my back, which isn't good when you are reaching, like when scrambling or climbing. I am 6'1" 170lbs.

Great jacket and amazing material.

This jacket is superb, top of the line materials and warm. I love the design of the cuffs and the color ways. Unfortunately the Ghost Whisperer 2 runs very small, all of my Mountain Hardwear gear I’ve worn XL including my Absolute Zero summit suit but a XXL in this jacket ran VERY snug. Didn’t give me a lot of room to move around but it served its purpose.

Good overall jacket.

This jacket is versatile, light weight and comfortable. My only complaint is the zipper gets snag a lot more than a jacket of this quality/cost.

A little bummed

Threads inside the pocket came apart the first time I wore it

Great brand, my only trusted winter jacket

Excited for this jacket as my last mountain hardware jacket lasted 13 years, would have last longer but zipper caught inside pocket and ripped fabric. Last one I wore on north slope of Alaska hunting caribou on many trips. My only initial worry is about future wear on the sleeve, as I wish it had double layers.

Very nice down jacket, hope it holds up

Great looking jacket, comfortable and a great color. Fit is good and moves really well during activities. Only concern is the delicate zipper, I wonder how long the fine teeth and tinny zipper will last…Fabric is super soft and 800 down loft is consistent. Very nice product, just hope it holds up over time!
