Powder Maven Down Jacket brings lofty warmth and tech-ready design to cold resort days

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This jacket is my secret weapon for staying warm on sub-zero lift days. The 650-fill down keeps the chill out without making me feel like a marshmallow, and the relaxed fit still leaves room for layering. Plus, the pass pocket is a must-have for hassle-free laps."

When we're chasing powder turns from bell to bell, we want a jacket that delivers warmth, weather protection, and on-mountain functionality. The Powder Maven Down Jacket from Mountain Hardwear is built for resort riders who don’t want to compromise on comfort or performance.

Its 650-fill RDS-certified down insulation packs in reliable heat for the coldest days, while the 2-layer windproof shell keeps gusts and flurries at bay. A helmet-compatible hood, pit zips, and a two-way front zipper give us all the tools we need to dial in comfort and airflow. Add in smart features like a pass pocket, chest pocket, and internal storage, and this jacket becomes an instant favorite for cold-weather shredding.

Love it

The fit is great. Love the color. Its still fall ish weather so I haven't had a chance to try it in snow yet. But I'm thinking I'll be very happy with it.

Keeps me warm, blocks the cold wind

Love this Jacket! I recently wore it for an ATV ride up Imogene Pass and it kept me warm, blocking the cold wind as we drove up. I can’t wait to use this jacket for the upcoming ski season. It has so many pockets with zippers in convenient places. Great product for the price; bought it on sale.

Looks great, unrestrictive and warm

Comfy and warm on the coldest days. The fit makes it easy to add or take away layers underneath.

Perfect Jacket

Perfect Jacket for ski. It's very warm and cozy. It runs a little big, but that is very good because it's perfect to use a middle layer during cold days.
