A great day pack for rainy climates
I purchased this pack for occasional bike commuting in rainy weather and for a day pack for an Iceland vacation. It is a great pack for those uses. While it doesn't have a waist strap the sternum strap does a good job of keeping the pack secure and remaining comfortable. The waterproofing is excellent. While the exterior of the pack "looks" wet after a lot of rain, the water doesn't seep into the pack interior. I did a several-mile hike in Iceland under constant rain and the interior of the pack remained dry. The shoulder straps are thin but as long as you don't overload the pack it feels comfortable and supports weight fine. The "hidden" water bottle pockets on either side are a pain. They couldn't fit my medium sized Grayl bottle (the rubberized bottom of the bottle didn't help) and were not convenient to access without swinging the pack around or having help. I think a tall/slim/slick water bottle might work well. Also, due to the length of the pack, I couldn't use it as a personal item on the plane. So overall great but has a few kinks that you have to work around.

Great work and leisure bag!
Great bag and versatile! I used this to go to the office and had my laptop and a jacket in it. Could also double as a hiking bag for cameras, clothes, water bottle etc. it’s an overall great and sleek design as well, which I love! No little pockets inside.

Fantastic day pack!
I purchased this bag primarily for big water fishing and for my travels. So far this bag has been great. It’s a perfect airline carry on and it has kept my lunches and additional layers nice and dry in very wet environments.

Great looking pack but I had to return it
Ordered primarily as a commuter bag because I liked the clean design & waterproof features. Would also make a great bag for day hikes or travel with some packing pods. I really wanted to like it but the included sleeve does not fit a current gen 15” MacBook Pro, so it did not fit my needs. A thinner laptop may work but it was just too snug to be usable.
