Great burner jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I got it on sale for $75 to use and abuse. Nice to have a synthetic, lightweight jacket to sweat in and work in and not have to worry about babying it. Unlike the ghost whisperers, it has a fuller non-athletic fit. Seems like a little tougher shell, and the chest pocket is a useful touch. All in all it's useful as a first layer or by itself, and will get a lot of use.

Awesome lightweight jacket

Perfect lightweight jacket. This is going to be great as a mid layer or spring and fall jacket. The burnt copper color is awesome and so is the quality so far. Fits perfect- medium on a 6’1 180lbs.

Great light jacket

Very light and comfortable jacket, I did not have the chance to use it yet in the cold canadian winters perfect for the October/November weather

Great in windy conditions

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
small

Very lightweight, and completely blocks the wind. I am 5'6" and 143 lbs., and the small fits perfectly. I chose the "blue" color, listed as Dark Caspian. I would say that the color is somewhat of a chameleon, appearing blue-green in the bright sunlight, more of a dark blue in the dark. I mention this only because it certainly appears more blue online than the actual blue-green. Lastly, the jacket arrived damaged, and the service to replace it from Backcountry was excellent.

Great fitting jacket.

Very comfortable fit and true to size. Not a slim fit, regular. Good construction. Love the colour. Very lightweight. Being a synthetic puffy will make it more flexible for rainy use.

Great jacket

Great light jacket but seem like it will keep you warm can’t test it yet as it summer. The fit is perfect, my previous MH jacket was a medium and i decided to get a small as i tried it at a store and the fit is amazing. I am 5’7 and 160lbs. Highly recommend this brand general whatever jacket you choose.

Great jacket

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Large

Love how light and minimal it is while still being warm. Also love the fit (I'm 6'1" and 182 - a large fits me great) and how it packs into it's own pocket. Used this camping last weekend every cold morning and it worked great.

Great jacket.

Warm, light, nice quality, and seems to fit a little loose but overall just solid.

Great Insulation Layer

Pretty happy with this jacket. Having worn out for 48 hrs straight on a climb, it kept me warm despite getting moist with sweat and snow. For as thin and light as it is, it offers a lot of warmth--despite not being down. Love it for the Pacific NorthWET knowing it will dry out unlike down. Also love the ability to pack it down into its own pocket. Only gripe is the pocket zippers: they feel too small and fragile. They also get caught on the fabric when closing. Waiting for the day the breast zipper pops off track and makes the pocket useless or breast pocket zipper sewing unthreads.
