The adjustment system is very solid. I also like how the snow baskets are shaped to lay flat against a backpack when stowed.

I’ve already used these poles for 20+ miles since I got them. They are great! Light sturdy and ez to adjust on the fly. However, being that I live in a hot and humid environment the handles do get slippery and kinda gross. I knew that foam grips would do that but I wanted give it a go. Simple sun gloves could fix this but I think I’ll save these for cooler temps. I would recommend them highly just be aware of your environment.

I've had these poles 9 months now and love them. However, I have a warranty issue with one of them (the red sleeve won't move or collapse down without Herculean effort). Something internally is wrong with the pole. I've submitted 2 service requests from the Cascade Designs website, in 3 weeks, and I get NO RESPONSE. I call their customer support line, navigate to the warranty and repair department, and they say "We don't take inquiries over the phone" and HANG UP. Go to their website and try the "Contact Us" page? Yeah, it's literally EMPTY! I understand in late 2024 or early 2025, Cascade Designs (who own MSR) closed their Seattle WA operation, moved to Reno NV, and laid off most of the employees. So, these are great poles, but they're frickin' expensive, and THEY COME WITH NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER. Caveat emptor!
