Great hiking boots
I purchased these in Dec. 2020. They have close to 600 miles on them. The boots still fit well and are still waterproof. The soles are showing some wear, but I can't complain considering the mileage that is on them. These are the best hiking boots I've owned. Planning on getting another pair.

Great walking and hiking boots for any weather
This is the second pair of these boots for me. I have a size 12m foot in womens which are hard to find. I walk about at least a mile everyday. I can go up and down steep hills and not worry if my feet are going to slip. These keep me safe from that. I have arthritis in both my feet and ankles. The boot keeps my ankles from turning. With out these boots I would not be able to enjoy my walks outdoors. thanks LLBean for stocking these.

OBOZ Bridger Mid B-DRY hiker
I have a five-year old pair that are the most comfortable hikers. The new pair is just as good and barely required break-in. These are truly waterproof. A coating with LL Bean Boot Guard keeps the leather healthy and supple and waterproof.

Comfortable but doesnt last

I am very picky about boots. To me, it doesnt make sense to spend $150+ on boots that you dont like and dont last. I tried on as many different brands as possible and settled for the Oboz. I really like that they are wider to accommodate my slightly wider feet, and the support and stability of these boots is great. However, after only 2 years, the rubber around the toe started to peel and compromised the waterproofing. One of the worst things is to spend so much time and money to get a great boot only to have them fail after 2 years. The second worst thing is to be in the mountains of Wyoming with wet feet in 9F snowy weather....

Great fit but they fall apart
Super comfortable but the water proofing doesn't last more than a few months and the stiching starts coming apart in under a year.
