Pleased with purchase
Very pleased. The temperature levels take a bit of practise and we haven't yet mastered the art of not sticking the pizza to the peel, but the oven itself makes fantastic pizzas with very little effort.

Get one!
Awesome. First attempt wasn’t good. Burnt but oven was too hot and not enough semolina on the paddle to launch. 2nd attempt was better. 3rd was, friends round, loads of pizzas and epic. Get one!

Great starter oven
Love it , I started making the same week it got it. makes great pizza, you just have to learn how hat temp works best for your cooking. Only one regret :)I I should have gotten the Ooni Koda 2 Pro for more space. You are going to love it, so spend the extra $$

Perfect size! Super Easy to use!
I've cooked many pizzas in the Karu 16 woodfire, the Frya 12 pellet oven, and the Koda 16. The new Koda 2 is my favorite so far. It's big enough to cook pizzas for my family of five but still small and light enough to easily transport. I leave it running for over an hour and casually launch pizzas throughout family pizza/movie night. Pizzas taste great! The upgraded taper flame cooks the pizza evenly every time.

It is ok…
Unfortunately, reaching the stated temperature of 500 °C is not possible. I'm not sure if it's due to my gas setup, but even after waiting a long time, the temperature doesn’t go beyond 375 °C.

Stone Temperature Management
Not bad for a transportable home-use pizza oven. The stone could be thicker for better temperature control, but all-in-all cooks a good pizza.

Good but takes time to learn
It was, and is great. However the quality of your dough recipe is equally important. You also can't just put it on full power as advertised or everything gets burnt on top, so heat management is important but annoying.
