Small improvements please
Used twice for travel- one car, one plane. Bag is light, comfortable to carry (short distances), expandable size used and useful. Spacious for dimensions. However, the main compartment would be better opening top to bottom rather than suitcase size to easily access content in confined aircraft spaces. Similarly, the small stash pocket could be bigger to compensate, while the flat pocket on the outer cover is all but useless due to having no independent space. Finally, compression straps would be really useful, especially when in expanded mode.

The Osprey Daylite 26+6 is
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Osprey Daylite 26+6 is great for my needs. It isn't the pack for everyone. I wanted a lighter weight, reasonably durable, personal item sized pack and this one fits the bill perfectly. As always, Osprey quality is top notch. If you need a lot of built-in organization or padding, this is not the pack for you but by lacking some of those things, it is fairly light. I do wish the inside compression strap were either removed completely or modified to a criss-cross design. I find having the solo compression strap right down the middle to be rather useless. I've only taken about 4 flights with it so far but it has fit under every seat (non-expanded). I easily took a 5 day trip with just this pack. There are a number of clipping points to hang things on the pack as well which has been nice and I know I will be using the passthrough with a suitcase in future travels.

Great backpack!
This is a really great backpack! I've used it for travelling by train so far but will be using for a flight in a few months. It's comfortable, has loads of space but is nice and compact. I love it.

Features are key. This is
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Features are key. This is a travel backpack IMO. One long zipper opens the front panel like a book cover giving access to the large central compartment. It is somewhat rectangular making it great for packing cubes. A pair of men's size 11 shoes will fit across the bottom of the bag. A second long zipper allows the central compartment to expand from 26L to 32L. It has several organizing pockets around the outside of the bag, similar to most backpacks. Laptop sleeve in back. Two water bottle holders are large enough for a 25 oz stainless bottle. Shoulder straps are basic but useful, with sternum strap. Handles on top, side and bottom will make grabbing the pack from an overhead compartment or from under the seat easy. Enough room for a long weekend or a supplement for longer trips. This is a very useful, well thought out bag. I highly recommend.

The size is perfect for
The size is perfect for budget Europe flights, maybe the design is not the best, the logo is huge and the word Daylite is just unnecessary, and I would've loved to see more of that one security zipper latch like the one on the laptop sleeve. I used it for a 7 day trip, and even had some space for souvenirs, no problem at all. It was very confortable to carry it around as well. But I definitely liked it.

I love how the Daylite™
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the Daylite™ Expandable Travel pack gives you so much space inside without feeling bulky. The expandable design is a game-changer — when I need extra room, it's there, but it still packs down compactly when I don't. It's lightweight, comfortable to carry. Love Love it

This pack is nearly perfect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pack is nearly perfect. Love the size, shape and features, and how it sits on my back. Love the expandability especially. The two things that would make it perfect: (a) If the top front organizer pocket was literally 1 inch deeper, my AirPods Max would fully fit there. and (b) I wish it had a hip belt. In all other ways, I am super happy with this pack and will use it regularly for weekend trips. My 20L Daylite is not quite enough for a weekend, and a 30-35L pack is way too much, so I love that this 26L option exists.
