Why We Like The Osprey Rook 50L Backpack
The Osprey Rook 50L Backpack features durable, eco-friendly fabrics for a pack that should last us years of backpacking. The lightwire frame helps transfer the bulk of our load to our hips while the Airspeed back panel features ventilating grooves to moderate annoying back sweat. The 50+ liter capacity can hold a few days of gear with convenient pockets to keep our small items organized. We also like the integrated rain cover—a nice value feature to keep the contents of our pack dry without us investing in dry bags and pack liners.

Pretty Good
Overall excellent comfort and ingenuitive design. Only downside I have experienced is squeakiness where the straps meet the pack when the pack is fully loaded. Which can become very irritating when on a long trek.

I have used the pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the pack on 1 trip of 10 miles. I am giving it 4 stars only because I am still trying to get the fit right. If I can figure that out, hands down 5 stars!

Brilliant
Bought the Hook 50 after much deliberation, don't regret it one bit. It's lightweight, has plenty of storage, it's pretty robust, distributes the weight well, it's comfortable and well ventilated. Honestly it's hard to say anything bad about it. Even comes with its own rain cover. It is pricey and I wish it had a pocket on the inside of the lid but that's just being picky. Highly recommended.

Love it! We sell them
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! We sell them at my work so I’ve been trying them all on one by one and I love the simplicity of the rook. Everything you need, nothing you don’t, light, breezy, blue and steezy!

Decent for the money. Wait for a promotion.
Not knowing the weight capacity for which the backpack is rated makes me nervous.

My Favorite Hiking Pack
This pack is not only comfortable but it is sturdy. Colorado rockhound worthy material. You hardly know you are packing weight.
