Review Summary
Fits Slightly Small
Screen reader users: the following list provides a visual scale to illustrate the product fit. Please refer to the heading above for the fit type in text. Here's what customers have to say
The product is generally well-received for its warmth and durability, though some users noted issues with the fit, insulation, and dexterity. The mitts tend to run small, making it difficult to use with a liner glove. While very warm for active use in cold weather, they may not be warm enough for prolonged low activity or extreme cold. The removable liners are also less durable than the outer shell. The bulky design can make it challenging to grip ski poles or perform precise tasks.

Very warm
I used these ice fishing in -30F temps and times when windchill would exceed that. Its hard to find good gloves that can stand up to the cold and water but these have. The mitten style makes them better for warming up your hands or wearing them when treaking across the lake. They are farly stiff so grabbing stuff is hard besides handle bars which even tires after a little. The removeable linear was nice as I could wear the shell over a wool fingerless glove to keep the wind off my hands and still be able to take them off quick to do fine motor tasks

I have Reynaud’s and can never keep my hands warm. These mittens aren’t perfect, I still get cold fingers, but they are the best I’ve had in a very long time. The inner mittens are great on their own. I use them primarily for running, but they would be great for skiing and other winter activities. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. They’re big and a bit bulky, but they’re warm, well made. I have been wearing the inner mittens in warmer temps using trekking poles. I haven’t used them enough to know how well they will stand up to this use.

Warm Gloves for the Mountain
I've always been a mittens person more than standard gloves, they are just warmer to me. These are solid mittens as you'd expect from Outdoor Research. The Velcro that holds the inner lining to the glove is a bit finnicky. If you don't have it attached firmly and well positioned the loop ends can give you a bit of a scratch. Other than that, no complaints here, good gloves to use in the winter.

Exceeded expectations
The mittens performed well above what I had expected. they are 100% wind proof and never let any moisture in. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in -25-28 °F with a good 10-15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. The recommended sizing for me was a M. I went up a size and they were snug, but very comfortable. The quality of these gloves are outstanding. I've already recommended them to a few friends and family.

These gloves are the warmest gloves out their and provide exceptional warmth. I used them while skiing and had to take my hands out due to them being so warm. One thing is they are made so well you need to break them in as they are stiff.

These mittens are perfect with r300 g of palm insulation really feels good . The thumb space feels really good. They definitely did a great job on designing these gloves. Outdoor Research makes high quality mittens with enough room in gauntlet to easily pull on and off. I ordered an XL but my hands aren't actually that large. They do fit perfectly.

The warmest mitts I have ever worn
I have been using the OR Mount Baker mitts for the past decade and decided to get these for the really cold days. My hands are always cold but these could be too warm for many days. They are similar to the Mount Baker mitts but the shell is insulated allowing a thinner liner on warmer days without freezing. You do lose a bit of dexterity but these are crazy warm. OR gloves tend to run a bit small and these are no exception.

Small is too small of a word
would rate higher if it l didn't literally hurt my hand to be crammed in the appropriately measured glove quality materials, lame sizing
