Lightweight and warm
Lightweight and warm. Good wind block for the neck. Great for hiking or skiing. Handy item to have in your pack if needed.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a really large head, so I ordered the largest size; I think I could probably be fine with one size smaller, but this will work just fine. I used this for face sun protection while attempting to reach the summit of Mt Adams in Washington. With the low SPF protection, by the end of the climb my face was showing color, but I also didn't apply any sunblock all day so I think if you had a base layer of block and this you would be fine. It breathed great, felt fine, kept me cool, really this is a very versatile product that I'll use for long exposed snow/glacier routes. I can also see this being in my inbounds winter ski kit, for wind/sun protection. My wife also has one of these in a smaller size that fits her well and she loves it. Highly recommend if you are considering.

Bad sizing description on BC's part
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The product itself is well made and what I was looking for...a lightweight neck tube that would provide enough coverage and warm without the bulk. However, the 'One Size' offering is incorrect. Both the board it's attached to and the label itself say "XL Wide" which would mean there are other size offerings from OR. A search on their site reveals that this model and other tubes are offered in either M/L or XL Wide. Because of this, it sits a little loose around the neck. Will stick with it as for what I paid isn't worth the return, and the three stars is more of a reflection about the product description, that the item itself.

This thing is cool
I didn't really realize how versatile piece of kit was when I ordered it but after wearing it around in a variety of weather conditions, I can see it being used for a neck warmer, a Balaklava, a hat, or any multitude of practical uses. The material is super light and comfortable but insulates well and keeps you warm even in moderate wind. A design in my book.

Cozy and multi-use
Love the fabric and color -- it's a little tight on my huge head when I wear it as a headband but I still dig it.
