Functional comfort for all day in the mountains!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants were great for recreating in cold and snowy condtions. I was able to take it multiple times downhill skiing and snowshoeing this winter through a variety of conditions. I found it to be great at keeping me warm with the insulation that is built in. The fabric allows you to move freely and includes belt loops with some straps to help synch down. I love being able to adjust the fit around my waist to help get a more secure fit. I also like the upper right hip pocket that comes with leash for so you can attach a ski pass or keys. If you're looking for a comfortable and warm pant for winter activities I would definitely recommend these! I think they are best for colder conditions (tested in down to -5°F with wind chill) but not as ideal for spring skiing or warmer days. The light brown color is also more likely to show scuff marks from ski boots. However, the fabric near the ankle is tougher, so I didn't notice any excess wearing in the bottoms of the pants. I look forward to enjoying these pants for many seasons to come as Outdoor Research always seems to make high quality gear that lasts! Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try.

Love these pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are awesome! I don't normally go for lighter colors but this is a unique earthy khaki and honestly very cute. I got many compliments from friends and strangers! Especially cute with the matching jacket. Love the easy access pockets for storing snacks and what not. Even when I forgot to zip them up a few times nothing fell out. The vents were really nice for cooling off on hot days but they also kept me plenty warm on the sub-zero cold mornings too (with merino leggings underneath of course). The material is nice and thick, not sure of the water resistant rating but I never got wet even after a few powdery tumbles. Only negative was the fit itself. I like a baggy fit to fit layers underneath. It feels like a straight-leg fit so everything worked fine, except the waist was quite loose. Luckily the cinch velcro straps allowed me to tighten as needed. I'm a size 2 / 25 / S / 120lb for reference. The bottom openings are almost too tight but still worked fine, it was just kinda hard to access my snowboard boots when tightening/loosening in between runs. Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try.
