First of all, I had never heard of Parmi. A little bit of research led me to who they are, where they are from and the niche. (Parmi = French for "among" or "amongst.") I assume they may mean among the cycling community or outdoor community. Anyway, I digress... These bib shorts, advertised as having a French nylon weave fabric, are VERY comfortable. The fabric is soft, stretchy and quite compressing. In fact, I thought maybe these shorts ran small (I wear a Large in other brands and this brand's sizing chart indicates a Large is for me as well). But the overall fit was spot-on; it was really the compression that was accented. After 2 hours on the bike, I liked it. The chamois is pliable and comfortable. It may not sustain me (on the road) for more than 3 hours, but I have no complaints. In fact, it seems to mold quite well to the crotch and move comfortably as you move pedaling, standing, etc. The leg grippers do their job. And they do it very well. Nice big rubbery dots. Very cool. The inseam feels shorter than I am used to, although it sits just 2 or 3mm just above my already-there tan line. So, it's not too far off. The suspenders hold up well and are sized right. Overall, I really like these bib shorts. It will be interesting to see how the Franch fabric weave holds up after rides and washes. And just as interesting, how well the company, Parmi, holds up in a very competitive higher-end base. I wish them luck, and I encourage you to try this clothing company as well. Hopefully Backcountry will keep stocking their products.
