Why We Like The Patagonia Swiftcurrent Packable Waders
Some of the highest-performing, lightest, and most packable waders available, the Swiftcurrent Patagonia Packable Waders are designed specifically for holding up in fast-moving rivers and packing down to the size of a big burrito by the end of the day. The Swiftcurrent is aptly named, as these waders keep you dry even with the pressure of a river working against the waterproof membrane. Recycled material helps you feel good about your sustainable choice, while the fully adjustable, waist-mounted suspenders reduce weight and allow easy conversion from chest to waist height, along with quick relief without having to remove your jacket.

Leaky and flimsy
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 150
These waders leaked on my first use at both boot seams - top vertical. I ultimately aqua-sealed everything even discoloration on the outside in spots just in case we were looking at self inflicted… and that was not the case. Triple confirmed it was pure seam failure.
