Roller Pro Carry-On

My last carry on

Bought the song Kickstarter and was stoked after receiving it. I made sure to go to the airport and test it with all of the sizers that I could find to make sure I didn’t have to worry for my next flight and it fit in every single one. I personally see the value in it as I don’t think I’ll ever have to get another roller carry on ever again.

Best Roller-Board Ever

I travel the world extensively and have gone through many roller-boards as carry-on luggage, but have never found one I really liked all that much. When Peak Design announced the kickstarter for this, I jumped on it, knowing I would love it given how much I love and rave about everyone of their products (and I own almost every PD product). Exceptional in every way, from wheels to the slim carbon fiber pull handle to the way it opens, secures content, and provides easy access for quick-needed items.

Absolutely love this bag

I’ve put the Roller Pro through real-world travel and on-set days, and it’s a standout. As a photographer and frequent flyer, the size is perfect on site for work, it glides through airports as a carry-on, and its design stays discreet everywhere. I also use it for weekends away. Extremely happy with the versatility and solidity, this roller feels built for the long haul. Five stars.

Personality in a sea of sameness

My second Kickstarter for Peak Design...the first one was the Everyday Backpack v1. Love the Roller Pro - - Wheels are smooth and rolls effortlessly on carpet, concrete, tiles, etc. They are also wider than typical roller bags so stability is great, when you zig-zagging in the airport to catch the next flight - A lot of space inside and love the adjustable cord system that holds everything down - Draw-bridge open is refershing, easy to get things out without spread out my stuff like a Chinese buffet. - Only fear I have is how well will the soft exterior hold up when I have to gate check it...time will tell.

Practily perfect

The Roller Pro is as close to perfect as you can get. I've own three other roller bags from other manufactures and they all had issues. So I continued my search for the perfect roller. The bag looks sharp and has a nice texture and feel. Rather than dwell on the short comings of the other bags I’ll highlight some of the key features of the PD Roller bag. The wheels really do work flawlessly and glide easily. The expansion feature works well and gives extra space when needed. The handle works very well and saves a lot space in the bag. The zipper is smooth and reassuring. I got the XL insert and it’s just like all of Peak designs dividers, super and well thought out.

Very sleek design

I only have two trips with it so far but my initial impressions are very good. The highlights are the sleek design and high quality feel. My favorite part is the clam shell design.

My new travel best friend

I love my new Roller Pro! Honestly, I love it so much I briefly considered kicking my husband out of bed so I could fall asleep gazing at its perfect wheels. The wait was long, but worth every second. I was so excited when it arrived that I booked a trip within three days—because how could I not take it out on an adventure? And adventure we did. Most of the time the wheels were so smooth I had to chase it, instead of dragging it around like other carry-ons. It glides so effortlessly I half expect it to win Olympic figure skating gold. It’s so functional it actually makes me feel dysfunctional. My old luggage is now sulking in the closet, wondering how it was so easily replaced. I can barely remember life before my Roller, and frankly, trying to think back is just painful.

Best Roller Bag I've ever owned

I love this bag. It completely meets all my expectations. My one caveat is the weight, which I know will be an issue if I travel with middle eastern carriers that usually impose a weight limit of 7kg.

Like all the inside pockets and the ease of handling with the rollers. The inside up feature is really nice when travelling. It’s on the small side but that’s OK, I need to pack lighter.
