Well made sweater. The one I received had no holes or loose threads. After a wash and hang dry or two, the sweater gets really fuzzy. It’s very nice. Fits great. Large 6ft 200lbs

Great Pendleton sweater

My husband loved the rich brown color and cozy thickness of this Pendleton shetland sweater. It fit great too. I was worried that he would find it scratchy since it isn’t cashmere, but not at all, he loves the way it feels.

Thin wool, not durable

Tore a hole in the arm after a single wear and wash, disappointed. Mass produced thin sweater, think of it as a fashion item rater than a piece of useful gear.

Awesome Sweater! I question durability

First off, I love this sweater so much I bought two of them. It?s warm, fits loose, and has great color. It?s scratchy wool but it?s really not that bad as I wear it in short sleeves most days. I?m a bigger guy and XXL is great. Stays warm yet breathable. I?ve had it for maybe 2 months and one of them got caught on my dogs toenail. A thread came out and now it?s ripping across the chest. Maybe that?s just the territory for a wool sweater but I?m bummed it?s already torn. However, I really dig it.

Having had terrible cold weather experiences in the Alps, Mt. Shasta (CA) and during an Arctic blast in NYC, I purchased this medium-light weight sweater for those sub 30 degree days as a mid layer to my overcoat or ski shell. XL perfect fit for my 5'-11," 225 Lb. weightlifter frame 48" chest, arm length too. Also the wool did not bother my bare arms, although in cold places I plan to wear a long sleeve Dri-Fit tshirt or thermal. Wife loved the color.
