Good equipment but not quite size 15
I truly think these crampons performed remarkably well considering the circumstances and boot type that I was using . However the stated size range says they will extend all the way to a size 50 EU boot, which is what I wear, and that put a little too much extension on the adjustable bar connecting front and back. Looking back over the instructions how to adjust the length, it shows a warning triangle ! about using the last 3 holes but on these boots and another pair I tried to size these to, I was only able to get the pin in the 3rd to last hole. I don't know if it was the flexibility of the boot's sole or the adjustment bar being in one of the last 3 holes but when I put too much stress on a toe spike trying to climb over a rock or when I was toeing in on this climb up old snow on a coulioir, each side popped out of the bar thankfully at different points in time. I was able to stop and put them back together. Good thing one would stay together while the other came apart. Makes for a bit of an exciting climb at this angle. Other than that they performed like a champ.

Great
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
These adjusted well, stayed on my ski boots and worked well for some climbing. I changed out the included strap for Petzl's elastic strap option they sell on their website and I think it's easier/faster for me but the standard strap worked fine as well. I've only used them a couple days but it was on snow one day and both snow and some rock the second and they held up great.
