Lightweight and highly ventilated, the Ventral Air MIPS optimizes cooling and aerodynamics for road rides
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"This helmet is all about performance. The ventilation system is top-notch, keeping me cool even on long climbs, and the Mips Integra system gives me extra peace of mind. The fit adjustment is super easy, and I love the built-in eyewear storage. It’s my go-to for warm-weather rides and long training sessions."
Built for speed, comfort, and protection, the POC Ventral Air MIPS is designed to keep us cool when the ride heats up. The precision-engineered ventilation system channels airflow over the entire head, regulating temperature whether we’re climbing at low speeds or sprinting on flat terrain. The aerodynamically optimized trailing edge reduces turbulence, improving efficiency without compromising cooling.
Safety is just as important as performance, which is why this helmet features a unibody shell construction with an EPS liner for impact absorption and Mips Integra for rotational impact protection. A lightweight adjustment system ensures a personalized fit, and the integrated eyewear garage provides a secure spot to store sunglasses mid-ride. Whether tackling long mountain climbs or enduring scorching summer races, the Ventral Air MIPS keeps us cool, protected, and focused on the ride ahead.

After only a few rides I am impressed. Wish I bought one sooner. Feels like there is nothing on your head.

Standout helmet.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- L/56-61mm
This helmet has exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, it felt like it was the helmet I've been missing for years. It fit great, it was much lighter, and the ventilation is the best I've known. The strap is even better and it does not try to share the same space as my sunglasses. Averaging over 3000 miles a year since the pandemic, I've used many helmets and gear. This one is worth leaving a review.

Light and extremely well-fitting
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've always had a problem getting a helmet that fits perfectly -- my head hovers between S and M, size-wise. I decided on the smaller version of this helmet and, when it arrived, I took it out of its box (and nice white bag) and put it on my head. It fit instantly; no need to adjust; I turned my head to confirm the fit, did up the chin strap and...that's all I've done to it. Several rides in, it's the most unobtrusive helmet I've worn -- wonderfully light, nicely ventilated, and generally ideal.
