Rab Namche jacket performs as described

I purchased the women's Rab 3.0 Gore-Tex Ramche jacket based on the online description, conversation with a Backcountry gearhead, as well as an online tech video review. It is a significant investment and wanted to be sure I was making a good decision for the purchase. I purchased the jacket and have worn it a number of times in wet conditions but not a downpour. It has performed well with regard to waterproofness. One important feature that I needed was the ability for the jacket to accommodate a fleece for added warmth. It does. I wear an 8/10 or a medium in most brands. I ordered the same size and find it to be a regular fit. The details of the jacket include lower zip pockets that can hold items to keep them dry. The length of the body of the jacket is below the hip. I am 5'7" tall. I like how it covers the top of my rain pants to help maintain staying dry. The sleeve length covers past the wrist and is adjustable with a velcro strap. The hood is adjustable which allows for a range of vision in wet conditions while keeping you dry. The caramel color is as depicted and complementary with my other rain gear. I am hoping the waterproof rating will hold up over time with proper care which includes revitalizing the exterior with a tech wash formulated to enhance the waterproof qualities. I recommend the Rab Namche jacket.

This jacket is really waterproof and is a nice fit. I just wish it was longer to cover more from rain, but if you’re looking for something cute and high quality this is it.

A gift for my wife.
A gift for my wife. The rain jacket looks and feels good quality. The waterproofing worked in a nasty downpour and was breathable and comfortable.

Bought as a present. First day of wearing it, it was raining heavily. Definitely waterproof. It's not insulated so up a mountain you will require other layers to keep you warm

Wanted a jacket that wasn’t
Wanted a jacket that wasn’t bulky but kept me dry. Nice fitting hood, easy to wear jacket which is great at keeping me dry. Nice big pockets a plus.
