Top notch rack
- Familiarity:

I bought this a couple months ago and it is the perfect rack. Very well built, easy to use, made in Colorado. We were using a cheap rack initially for our car (swagman xtr) and it was easy and functional but after getting rear ended we needed a new one. We splurged a bit on this rack and now realize it should have been the first choice! It’s so simple to load and unload the bikes. The rack tilts down so u can open your trunk if you have one, doesn’t block the plate when up (if that matters), and even comes with a heavy duty bike lock to secure your bikes to the rack. It also comes with a lock for hitch pin. Great rack!

Rockymounts BAD customer service
Rockymounts can't be bothered to help their customers. Nice product, terrible support. Full-size Toyota owners will need the Rockymounts XL hitch pin. Good luck sourcing that from Rockymounts or Rino Rack.

Lame customer support. Fine rack.

Do yourself a favor and go with Kuat. Decided to try something new after years with Kuat and immediately had to deal with a far worse customer support team. Kuat always stands by their products no matter where or when you bought it and they get your issues resolved. I’ve been waiting on a part for 3 weeks from rockymounts and they ghosted after saying they sent it. Rack seems fine. Threaded hitch pin is annoying if you want to take your rack off regularly - no other rack stabilization tech so an aftermarket pin isn’t an option.

Works perfectly

Assembled in 15 minutes. Have not noticed any sway while driving. Included security features are as good as you can get. A little pricey, but got mine with a 20% off coupon so it was a no-brainer. Also, shoutout to the gearheads at CC who are the best!

Great Rack

RockyMounts makes really nice bike racks with similar features and lower prices than other major brands. Setup and install is super simple and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Excellent Rack
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this rack. My biggest complaint about 1Up and other similar racks was the lack of a proper lock. This has an outstanding lock that would cost over $100 if purchased separately. The rack is easy to operate and looks amazing. Branding visuals are minimal. I've used it with road and mountain bikes, and it works equally well with both. Highly recommend!

excellent rack for carbon bikes
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 2"
Pros: doesn't touch carbon frame. It locks onto tires. Carbon is extremely vulnerable to rubbing so a rack that grips frame will not damage carbon on long drives. Outstanding at locking bike in place. Tilt functions are awesome. Has feature that prevents rack from moving around in hitch. Works great. I really like this rack. I bought it because a bike company executive (who has deals with all the rack companies) stated it works great with carbon bikes. My son has owned this rack for years and loves it as well. Cons: extremely heavy and bulky. Overall: I really like this rack particularly for carbon-frame bikes. If I didn't have carbon, I might consider others just because of the weight.

Similar to One Up but better made
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
A few of my friends have One Ups and this Rocky Mounts version feels like a more polished product. The hefty included chain that locks into the rack itself is a bonus.

Perfect fit and built like a tank

No wobble with the pin setup, and super easy to put on, fold up etc. The included chain is super overkill too
