Straps instantly broke

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got this delivered today and was excited to use it on my bike. The straps all broke before I even get the bag fully attached. The backup/replacement straps broke just as easily by stretching them less than the required distance to attach the bag. The rubber straps felt brittle and tore rather than stretched. The bag itself seems alright but I can't use it. DO NOT BUY!
