Why We Like The Hitch Hiker Leash

Our pups are used to our adventurous outings, but we never know when we'll need a classic leash, a stable hitch, or a run-ready belt. Thankfully, Ruffwear answered this dilemma with the multi-purpose Hitch Hiker Leash, complete with hip-pack-equipped waistbelt and adjustable-length lead. The fanny pack-style component can stow the extra leash or belt length when not in use, plus it leaves loads of room for pick-up bags and training treats.

Quality security rowdy pup

Very secure leash with high quality hardware attachments. Rope coiling into the little pouch is a little finicky, but I mostly manage the rope extended, with the slack managed with my left hand. Length is just right to give my Gigi a little freedom, but keep her unpredictability tethered to me. She'll bolt after bicycles, so it's good to have her attached just in case!
