I've put it through the wringer

I'm a simple man, when I want to swim I wear swimtrunks. When I workout, I'll wear some performance lightweight poly shorts. And when I'm struttin' the town, I want shorts that look like these. If you are looking for the wide pant 90's thing that make your legs look like toothpicks being drowned by denim, go somewhere else. these are great "just above the knee" length and aren't tight anywhere. slap on some vans and go skate, or put on a button-down and have mai-tai's with your lady.
