Why We Like The Salomon Elixir Activ Mid GTX Boot
When hiking or backpacking, having supportive boots helps increase our comfort on the trails. The Salomon Elixir Activ Mid GTX Boot is a mid-height waterproof boot with a durable upper that breathes well and has rock protection. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane keeps all moisture away while remaining breathable enough to go on long hikes, and the 6-inch height of the boot adds ankle stabilization and protection. The padded tongue and collar add extra comfort and provide a snug fit, while the 5mm lugs and reverse camber-shaped sole outsole down massive amounts of traction and provide a smoother stride.

Nice boots
I’ve only owned them for a few weeks but the sizing was accurate and they seem well made. I’ve worn them around the yard some for the last few weeks and I’ve only been on one 5 mile moderate hike with them. They are water proof, comfortable, good support, and good traction on the few rocky obstacles I crossed. All around nice light boots.

I finally gifted my husband his own pair of Salomon's based on my Love for them! I purchased mine 9 months ago because of the BEST EVER large toe box & overall comfort of entire shoe rocking design! Even with my thick, customized orthotic flat-foot insole, there is still lots of toe and heel room to make daily wear superb! My husband's shoe fit is also excellent! He has high arches and struggles with ankle/joints yet his new pair provide needed support. He is active and now can enjoy hikes and daily wear with these Salomon's withOUT pre-existing discomfort. I also ordered a pair for my sister whom struggles with plantar fasciitis. She loves the rockng design of shoe and large toe box. I can say more yet I think you get my drift ;) ENJOY your new pair(s)!

Comfortable and Stable.
Hiked about 40 miles in these on vacation last week and can't be more pleased. I specifically wanted water resistance because we were headed to the Pacific Northwest and the Elixer worked perfectly. Hiked comfortably in the rain and puddles and muddy paths with dry feet. I would buy again.

As a professional hiker and athlete, I’m genuinely impressed by the Salomon ELIXIR ACTIV MID GORE-TEX. The design and color are absolutely stunning, modern yet rugged enough for the outdoors. The fit is incredibly comfortable and wraps around the foot perfectly, almost like it was custom-made. One of the standout features is the weight, it strikes the perfect balance between lightness and stability. You can feel that you are in full control of your movements, not the shoes. The grip design is phenomenal, almost like a supportive backbone under your feet, offering real confidence on uneven terrain. Movement feels fluid and natural. I’ll be starting my field testing in Spring 2025 and can follow up with more feedback based on long-term use. If that’s helpful, feel free to reach out. One small suggestion: Please consider keeping all color options at the same price and running promotions across all colors equally. It would definitely make the buying experience even better for everyone. Highly recommended so far!

Comfortable shoes
Bought these shoes on a recommendation from a hiker i met in the ADK. Initially they took a couple wears to break them in but once there they are so comfortable. I wear them mainly at work but have also ventured outdoors with them and no issues. Solid shoes for anything

SENT WRONG ITEMS!!
I ordered a men’s down vest and men’s shirt-I received 5 pairs of socks instead of the correct order! Had to make 3 calls to NOT pay the sick restock fee and get a refund ASAP! ZERO STARS
