Comfortable. Convenient. Do not keep out dirt.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago. I love getting into them. They are very comfortable and certainly support my feet well. They are a little loose, but work well when tightened. They are very easy to put on with their lace system. My disappointment in them, is that they do not keep out dirt, like my previous pair of Salomon running shoes. I loved my other Salomon's so much as they were incredibly versatile and I could use them as garden shoes, town shoes or running shoes. I am quite disappionted that when I garden I end up with dirt in my shoes. I would imagine the same would happen when running on dusty trails.

Great hiking shoe

I bought these shoes as a compliment to my speedcross shoes so I'd have another pair to switch out. I love these shoes as well. Very comfortable and durable. I used them for 29029 hiking event. I'd buy these again.

Ladies trail shoe

After months of reviewing some popular trail runners I decide in these Salomon’s. Couldn’t be happier. I have a long, narrow foot and take a size 11. These are so light but grippy and have just the right amt of width with great toe box room. Also love the quick tie system so no more double knotting or loose laces!

Great on the trail

Love love love these shoes. I was told people liked them if “ they could get used to the lacing”. I think the lacing system is one of its best features. Lacing stayed put. No loosening up throughout the run. Handy storage pocket for extra laces in the tongue . I read comments they couldn’t get at the pocket once shoes were cinched up , but I suspect poor technique . Put foot in shoe, pull tongue up , cinch up shoe and tuck in extra lace . Easy peezy. I got size 8.5 after trying them on. Usually I wear 9 in running shoes . Ran / hiked all over Zion . No toe jamming. Good cushioning. No blisters or rubbing.

Genesis for women

The Genesis are very sturdy structured shoes with a high gripping heel. They are great to walk in on trails and nice to run in. With the Salomon lacing system you never have to stop to retie your laces. I must admit I like the previous system more than tucking the lace in the small pocket. But either way it does not matter the sneakers are great. I also wear them to the gym.
