Next-level freeride performance with the Salomon QST 106 Skis, built for hard-charging runs
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“Salomon’s QST 106 is a dream ski for any day in the mountains. With its perfect blend of rocker, camber, and basalt-fiberglass construction, it’s got just the right amount of pop and precision for everything from powder days to variable conditions. It’s light enough to hike for that perfect line but burly enough to rip through chop. This ski’s sweet spot of stability and playfulness is just incredible—I can’t wait to take it out again!”
We’ve always been inspired by lines that challenge us to go further and push harder. That’s why the Salomon QST 106 Skis were designed with the progressive freerider in mind. From dawn patrol tours to après pow laps, they’re the ultimate partner for exploring powder stashes, slashing through fresh snow, and carving down steep couloirs.
With a full poplar wood core for power and stability and basalt-fiberglass construction to keep them responsive and damp, the QST 106 feels like it was built for that perfect powder day—and the inevitable tracked-out conditions that follow. We love how the cork damplifier smooths out the ride, making it easy to stay in control, even when things get rowdy. Step in and let the mountain be your playground.

Great every day ski if you go all mountain
Such a fun ski for a daily driver when you need to be ready for anything. Well balanced, great float and surprising edge hold for a wider stick.

The Ultimate Playful All-Mountain Ski
This ski strikes an incredible balance of fun and performance. Its playful nature makes it super fun to ride in all conditions, while the design is confidence-inspiring for intermediate to advanced skiers looking to push their limits. The increased tail rocker adds versatility, making turn exits effortless and adding a touch of forgiveness. Despite its playful character, it still holds its own as a true all-mountain directional twin, offering stability and precision when carving or charging down more technical terrain.
