Comfort plenty toe box room
I bought this to replace ultra glide 2 impressed is an understatement . Plenty of room in the front toe box enough cushion underfoot whilst giving you that connection to the ground. Grip is an impressive feature the limitations of this shoe is the owner they will leave you wanting to do it again and again faster and faster

actually couldn’t wait for these to lose the tread so I could buy another one right away. Best shoes ever. Keep this line!

Great shoe all around
I tried the normal Gensis before as well as the Sense Ride 4 and 5. Both the SR5 and regular Genesis fit too narrow. I love the S/Lab version. True to size. The cushioning (not too much to still feel the terrain, but not too little like the Sense Ride 5 that destroyed my feet after 10-15K). Great all around shoe, definitely worth the price. Putting 4* as I am waiting to see how long it will last!

Needs Better Midsole
These shoes are well designed and provide excellent lockdown for handling technical terrain. The main issue I'm having is with the midsole stiffness. After about 12 miles, I start to develop foot fatigue. Just added a Sidas insole which helped a lot. But getting the original "cheaply made" midsole out was a nightmare due to the way it was glued in the forefoot. I think if the engineers improve the midsole experience using super critical foam, and start including a high-quality midsole, these shoes will be the best in the industry.

Favourite Trail Shoe Ever
Speedy, versatile, great on all terrain. I genuinely feel faster in these shoes!! My legs don’t feel tired after and the sock /gaiter is great to keep dirt and rocks out! The only issue is that it is a bit narrow in toe box height. These are great for all day runs, technical scrambles and workouts, Would love if there were more colour options.

Absolutely phenomenal
Absolutely phenomenal trail running shoe! Whether it’s a 5K, a half marathon, or an ultra, climbing steep ascents or bombing down technical descents—through dirt, rocks, or mud—this shoe handles it all effortlessly. I usually rotate between Salomon, Brooks, and Terrex, but the S/LAB Genesis stands in a league of its own. It strikes the perfect balance: a slightly roomy toe box for natural movement, combined with a secure lockdown in the midfoot and heel. Light and responsive, yet impressively tough and durable. After logging 150 miles in my first pair, I didn’t hesitate to order a second.
