Customer Images

Here's what customers have to say

The trail running shoe is praised for its light weight, comfort, and performance, with some calling it a top option for racing. However, it is noted to run small and narrow, requiring a half size up for some users. Some reviewers found the shoe difficult to put on and not very durable, wearing out quickly. Overall, the shoe seems well-suited for many users but may not work for those with wider feet or needing a more durable option.

Salomon S/Lab is S/uperb!

I have worn the Salomon speed cross for years. They are extremely comfortable and provide the traction needed. I decided to try the S/LAB PUSAR 3 and can't believe how light, comfortable, stylish and functional this shoe is. Definitely my best looking Salomon and my new favorite shoe.

Great Shoes!

These are all that I want in a trail shoe. Super light, great upper and all the tread that's needed. Loved them since the first generation

Just what I wanted!

They are comfortable and light. Maaaybe, I wouldn't recommend for someone new on trail running or someone with weak ankles until they get used to the sports, but other than that. I love this shoes. They are great and they look very good!

Extremely light weight yet comfortable on trail

I came across the Pulsar after trying the Arc’teryx vertex speed, which ended up being too narrow for my foot despite me having narrow feet. The pulsar fits like a glove, and was true to size, same size as my alphacross shoes. Love the weight, not sure there is a lighter trail shoe. My only con was, as others have mentioned its not great for traversing hills. In my adventure race (expedition oregon) I noticed it being easier to roll the foot at times. So not best for off trail or bolder/skree runs.

Good but fits small

Usually I wear 10.5-11, defintely should've ordered the 11.5 because too small and will probably spend more time in the closet until thrown out.

Long time S lab fan

I bought these to replace a 10 year old pair of S lab sense ultras (size 8/9) that ate up any task I threw at them. I was lucky enough to buy them at a dope running store where I could get expert help with fit. The pulsar 3s seemed to be the most similar shoe, with the cinch tie and the unique upper (it’s one piece of mesh). I bought these in 3 sizes (8/9, 8.5/9.5, 9/10) so I could compare fits. I found sizing confusing, because other brands sell shoes in 8/9.5 but my old shoes followed the same sizing as the pulsar 3. I ended up keeping the 8/9. It made sense because this had been my size previously. I immediately ruled out size 9/10. Even the 8.5/9.5 was way too large, specifically in the toe and main upper of the shoe. In my opinion the toe was too roomy for more technical trail running; the upper was so large that the fabric bunched up under the cinch. For reference I plan to use these shoes with thin socks. If I used thicker socks I would consider going up 1/2 a size.

Extra wide, not slim at all

This is the only shoe in the catalog which is marked slim, and it is not slim at all. I'd guess it's a men's D width, which is by no means slim. It's the widest Solomon shoe I own. But you used to make narrower shoes than you do now :-(.

Light great fit trail shoe

I love the snug fit. I have narrower feet and they fit perfect They are a bit difficult to get on especially in damp environments but once they are on the are light and fast Great training and racing shoe

Fantastic (Technical) Half Marathon Shoe

I love, love, love this shoe. It's as fast as you can go, extremely light, wonderfully nimble and with 4.5 mm lugs, they have great grip. Ive taken these through local steep, technical & wooded runs, here in the UK. And from valley to mountain top, all over Chamonix and a 21k up Snowden. I still have plenty of grip on them & there's very little sign of wear & tear. I will add, I believe these have a natural limit for approx half marathon distance before your feet feel the fatigue. Obviously this will vary greatly dependant on your love & experience of lower profile shoes.

Nice product

It's so nice and comfortable. There are some wrinkles on top when you put it on. The only trick is you may buy a 1/2 size bigger than normal siize
