Très déçu de cette nouvelle version
Coureur expérimenté avec près de 15 ans de Salomon. La S/Lab Pulsar 2 était Top, la S/Lab Pulsar 3 l'était encore plus (pas testé la Pulsar 3)...Et grosse déception pour cette version 4. Elle a perdu toutes ces qualités originales d'une S/Lab. Instabilité due à cette grosse mousse et frottement au niveau de la maléole externe...Ce n'est donc plus une S/Lab mais une chaussure banale. Je comprends de moins en moins les choix marketing sur cette gamme. Il ne me reste plus que la S/Lab Ultra 3 qui est fantastique en espérant qu'elle ne disparaisse pas du catalogue un jour... Achat boutique Salomon Chamonix
Au premier essai les chaussures sont confortables et dynamiques, a peine plus lourdes que les pulsar 2 et 3 que j'ai beaucoup apprécié. Malheureusement lors d'une utilisation plus soutenue (longues descentes avec devert ou techniques) le pare pierre extérieure ou il est écrit Salomon provoque un frottement sous la malléole externe ce qui m'a d'abord créé une ampoule puis une plaie... vraiment dommage, je suis fortement déçu du produit.

Best Pulsar yet
Great shoe, easier to get on Really responsive If one fault the grip could be better, I feel Salomon are getting left behind. If there was a vibram sole on this shoe it would be outstanding Overall very good shoe

Pulsar revamp- Bravo Bravo
Where can I start- I’ve ran in the pulsar since their first launch and this in my opinion is a homage to the Pulsar 1 with IMPROVED cushioning. You get the perfect ground feel but with the added benefit of new technology and the added cushioning. Giving this racer an edge. Absolutely fantastic performance by Salomon. It’s like a genesis and the original pulsar had a baby. Simply wonderful at every distance.

A longer-distance Pulsar
The Pulsar 4 is reminiscent of the original Salomon Ultra shoes of a decade ago but with better midsole foam and a more pliant yet protective upper. It is closer to the S/Lab Genesis or the Ultra 3 in design and I think purpose than the Pulsar 3 or previous Pulsars. As a technical mountain shoe, I’m considering racing my next 100 K in these. It’s lighter than most of its competitors yet very comfortable and quick underfoot.
