It’s like walking on clouds
I bought these shoes several weeks ago to wear for golfing. I golf everyday in the morning and walk 18 holes. I have been struggling to find a golf shoe that can give me the support, comfort and traction I need while also keeping my feet dry. I have been using another pair of the same shoe for over a year and I wanted another color so I purchased these black ones. So comfortable!!!

Salomon - X ULTRA 360 GORE-TEX
I have owned them for a little over a month. Very happy, performing as expected.

Not right for my foot
I've owned six pairs of the Solomon SpeedCross shoe - even hiking the 500 miles of the Colorado Trail with no blisters in 2021. I decided to upgrade this year for the Tour de Mont Blanc by getting a more waterproof shoe and a slightly more rugged shoe to protect me from the Alpine granite. However, even though the show has those qualities, and looks great, I have been getting hot spots at the base of my big toes and pinky toes. My plan is to try to see if I can break in this pair with a few more hikes or I may have to return to my old faithful: the SpeedCross.

Shoelaces broke after 6 months
Started off great loved the comfort and waterproofness. But shoelaces are too thin and are already broken after 6 months. Way too expensive for shoes that are already broken

Durable
I've been wearing these every day for work and play the last 3 weeks. They started out with a hotspot on one of my pinky toes, but that seems to have stretched out and doesn't seem to bother me anymore.

Light feeling, heavy duty
Super comfortable shoe, easy to put on and go. The shoe feels light but you can tell the durability of it is great.

Sturdy Hiker
This is a solid hiking shoe with a very rigid chassis. I bought these for a trip to Arizona where I was going to be hiking in Sedona and some of the other mountains closer to Phoenix. I broke the shoes in for a couple weeks ahead of time and then got a lot of trail miles in Arizona hills/mountains. These shoes have excellent rigidity for hiking, and I got a lot of support climbing up rocks. Overall these shoes are excellent and the quality I would expect from Salomon. These are solid hiking shoe as opposed to a trail runner, so you don't get as much flex. You don't want that flex for hiking and climbing so I would definitely recommend these for that use. These run a bit narrow, particularly compared to other shoes I've gotten from Salomon. Only reason they don't get a 5 Star is because they do seem to be a bit narrow and I would like Salomon to start offering wide versions of these shoes with the same color combinations. Salomon has a bad habit of not offering very much variety for their wide options, which is a shame. Competitors do it, and I've bought other competitors' shoes and boots but their quality doesn't compare to Salomon. Salomon makes technically superior footwear in a lot of aspects, and I'd like to see more wide color/design options.
