Megatower X0 AXS dominates enduro lines with 170mm of FOX Factory travel and wireless precision
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Megatower is the bike I grab when the trail starts with a double black and ends somewhere near a shuttle road. It pedals surprisingly well for a bike this burly, but point it downhill and it just rails. The FOX 38 and Float X2 are tuned for speed, and the SRAM Maven brakes are next level. Add in the X0 AXS drivetrain and you've got a dream build that’s race-ready straight out of the box."
Built for gravity lovers and enduro racers who never back down from a wild descent, the Santa Cruz Megatower X0 AXS is the definition of a big-travel 29er done right. It’s long, low, and slack in all the right places, but smart geometry and Santa Cruz’s refined kinematics make it equally confident on long tech climbs or mid-stage punchy efforts. Whether you’re hunting podiums or pushing personal limits, the Megatower is ready for it.
At the heart of the build is a Carbon CC frame, paired with a 170mm FOX 38 Float Factory Elite fork and a Fox Float X2 Factory shock, delivering high-speed sensitivity and big-hit control. The drivetrain features SRAM’s new X0 Eagle AXS T-Type Transmission, offering silent, flawless shifting under power with a clean, cable-free cockpit. Maven Silver Stealth brakes with 200mm rotors give unreal stopping power and modulation, and Reserve alloy rims paired with Industry Nine hubs ensure bomber reliability on rough trails. Add in a OneUp dropper, Santa Cruz carbon bar, and Maxxis EXO+/DD rubber, and you've got one of the most capable bikes in the enduro world.
Heads up — We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you’ll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
