Why We Like The Santa Cruz Stigmata CC Red/Force AXS Transmission Gravel Bike
The Santa Cruz Stigmata CC Red/Force AXS Transmission Gravel Bike takes us down the road less traveled, going to places we never thought possible. The CC Carbon construction and the gravel-specific RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR fork, which features 40mm of travel, improve riding comfort over rough terrain and keep riders fatigue-free for miles. The progressive geometry features a long reach, slack head tube angle, and front end designed around a 70mm stem, increasing off-road capability and keeping us in a comfortable, powerful position. We are also big fans of the dropper post and UDH compatibility, combining our favorite mountain bike components with the road-like frame to take us further off-road than ever before.
On this model of the Stigmata, we get control of the unique 12-speed Red/Force AXS Transmission. The combination of the 10-52t SRAM X0 Eagle T-Type cassette and SRAM Force AXS crankset with a 42t chainring provides us with a wide variety of gearing ratios to take us up, down, or across any terrain that comes our way. The SRAM X0 Eagle AXS T-Type rear derailleur controls our cassette with unmatched efficiency, using a first-of-its-kind Hangerless Interface. But without the Maxxis Rambler tires on the Reserve 25|GR carbon wheelset, we couldn't keep up with the power our intuitive drivetrain allows us to put into the gravel.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
